How much? Which company?
Balloon prices are determined by several factors:
* BASKET SIZE: Range from 8 to 32 people. Smaller baskets are more expensive but have more flexibility to fly low in the valleys and up high for the best views.
* FLIGHT DURATION: Normally 60, 75 or 90 minutes. 60 minutes is a good amount of time in the air, but if your budget allows it, a 90 minute flight is definitely worth it!
* THE COMPANY: Just like airlines and cars – not all companies are equal. Some offer an enhanced experience with full buffet style breakfast, while others offer a basic no-frills service with a cup of coffee. Cheaper companies have been known to shorten flights to 45 minutes. Other companies pay higher salaries to ensure they have the most experienced pilots for the best experience possible. And some just work more professionally than others.
* THE SEASON: Prices are usually discounted in winter (Nov – Mar). Some agencies over-inflate prices during peak periods, especially for last minute reservations. New season prices usually come out in March, so if you plan to fly in the high season, book early to avoid price increases!

When we receive your hotel reservation, we will send information which includes our current pricing for hot air balloons, tours and special packages.
The important stuff
* FLIGHT TIME: Flights are scheduled for sunrise. This means transport pickup will be between 03.00-04.00am in summer months and 06.00-06.30am in winter months.
* INCLUSIONS: All companies provide transport to/from the hotel, insurance and a flight certificate.
* CHILDREN: Children 6-12 years pay full adult price. Children under 6 years are not allowed to fly.
* CASH PRICES: Quoted prices are usually CASH prices. Most balloon companies and agencies charge an additional 10€ per person for credit card payments.
* DEPOSITS and PAYMENTS: We never ask for deposit when booking a balloon flight (or any other activity) prior to your arrival. But we do require full payment at the time you check-in. We hold your payment here at the hotel until you have flown.
* REFUNDS: If flights are cancelled due to bad weather, you will be rescheduled for the following morning. If you are unable to fly, you will receive a full refund of any payments.
Changes implemented due to COVID-19 :
* Baskets will not be filled to capacity. For example, a 16-person basket will usually have a limit of 12 persons. A 32-person basket will have a limit of 24 persons. This ensures more spacing between groups of travellers. Each couple or family/group will only have members of their group in their basket compartment.
* Thermal temperatures will be taken and masks are to be worn at all times (while being transported and in the balloon).
* Pre-flight breakfasts and post-flight champagne is not currently being offered by any company. Some companies may offer tea/coffee at the launch site.
