OUR ROOMS

We offer 9 rooms in total:  7 cave, 1 traditional stone and 1 economic room in different comfort categories.  Each room has a private ensuite bathroom with fully enclosed shower and plenty of hot water all year around.  All rooms are tastefully furnished in a similar style;  the differences in room categories relate to room size and location within the hotel (ground floor, 1st or 2nd level) and/or additional amenities.

The advantage of cave rooms is that they maintain a consistent temperature all year around.  This means that they are refreshingly cool in summer so air conditioning is not required. (We do have pedestal fans on request if you feel that you need it but we doubt that you will).   In winter, all our rooms have central heating (with controls in each room) and the rock walls of the caves retain that heat to ensure you are toasty warm.   All rooms have a window – some are bigger than others, depending on the location of the room.

One small thing to expect from cave rooms is that tiny rock particles may flake off the walls and ceilings – for example, if you brush up against the wall.  This is natural – it’s a cave!  But rooms are serviced and cleaned regularly and we promise it really isn’t a problem.
