There are large number of “cave” hotels in Goreme, all with interesting rooms I’m sure. We stayed for 4 nights as our first trip to Cappadocia – despite trying to arrange flights for months (Covid-19), the owners were SO helpful in letting us change dates (and suffering with us the constant change of flights be Turkish Airlines). The Adelya breakfast was authentic and we really enjoyed it each morning. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and all worked fine.
The single reason we were so pleased to have booked in at Adelya was that the staff and management we really helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they really wanted us to make the most of our 4 nights in Goreme / Cappadocia seeing as much as we could. They negotiated a package for us, giving us the “Red” day tour and the “Green” tour, an early morning balloon flight, plus airport transfers with a good discount. Using a great local tour company who showed us the sights (without out all the giftshop / factory sales visits), but that’s another report. We often opt to do our own thing to visit places in the area on local transport but were glad we opted for the tours Adelya booked (about 45 Euros who a whole day with a local guide and lunch included). Staff speak very good English and are very knowledgeable and also found a 1 day car hire for us. Plenty of local restaurants and we liked both Adelya recommended, see my other reports on “Old Cappadocia” and “Topdeck Cave”. (Tripadvisor, Sept 2020)

I shared my gratitude in person, but also want potential guests to know,that they will have more than a great time in Adelya hotel. We felt like a family, because Lisa, Deniz and Selcuk took a care about us. First, we arrived at 5am and were promised to be check on at 7am (normal check in at 1pm!) But we got room right away, which is absolutely exceptional.
Second, all the excursions we ordered via Lisa were well organized and very entertaining. We did balloon flight and mountain horse riding. And all the tips for self-travelling were very helpful. In Cappadocia so much to see!
Third, our room was very beautiful and comfy. Everything worked well. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrase.
And last, we had some problems with leaving Göreme (make sure your bus comes to Göreme, not Nevshir), but Lisa and Deniz helped us to solve this issue without a panic. And our wonderful time wasn’t ruined. Thank you for loving what you do and nice treatment of travellers, thank you for chats, humor and inspiration.

We absolutely loved our time at this hotel! We booked for 4 nights initially and ended up staying 8 nights because we loved it so much. Our trip to Cappadoccia was during COVID-19 precautions, so we were unclear about what we could actually do in the area. We went with flexible plans and lots of questions. Lisa and Deniz took time out to help us with many recommendations of what to do, where to eat, and how to get around. This only scratches the surface of how awesome they treated us! We felt so welcome and comfortable that we never wanted to leave. The hotel itself is very cute and clean. The atmosphere is just charming. We loved spending time on the terrace, and really loved breakfast. It was easy to get nearly everywhere from the hotel. We had the most perfect stay and would love to visit again. Great and affordable cave hotel experience! I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is located in a great location in Göreme. It was very easy to get anywhere we wanted to get to in and around town by foot or by local bus. The room we booked was so nice and perfect for the two of us. The included breakfast had us getting out of bed excited every morning. I still miss the breakfast! Lisa and Deniz are the perfect mix of professional and personable. Meeting them was an extra charm to our visit! I cannot list the ways they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Any question, or need we had, they were eager to help us.
