Horse Riding in Cappadocia
We work with a lovely ranch that is set amongst orchards and vineyards, who offer a range of rides, suitable for all levels of experience.
- Wake up early, before sunrise, and enjoy a peaceful ride as more than 100 hot air balloons gently float overhead.
- At sunset, the rocks and fair chimneys in Red and Rose Valleys come to life as they are bathed in the warm colours of the setting sun.
- For a very special and surreal experience, enjoy a night ride as the valleys are magically lit with the light of a full moon.
Regardless of which option you choose, you will discover hidden caves and lookouts, historical churches and ancient cave villages. Experience Cappadocia in all its glory!

Important Notes
- Cappadocia horses are traditionally on the small side and many ranches have a weight restriction of 85kg for the welfare of the horses. The ranch we work with also have larger horses that can take guests up to 110kgs so our heavier guests don’t need to miss out. 🙂
- Rides are customised according to your level of experience (from absolute beginner to advanced). Be sure to let us know beforehand so the trip can be planned accordingly.
- Are you an absolute beginner that wants to have the experience but too afraid to ride on your own? No problem, they can arrange for someone to walk alongside and lead your horse, ensuring they have complete control at all times.
